| | Message text Welcome to Blue Max. This question of ethics has been asked many times on this site, and will probably continue to be a contentious issue.
The bottom line. Fly with your own code of personal ethics, and never bend it.
Some believe that one should never leave the field (since it is an artificial boundary.
Others believe that it is OK to leave, but only from your own board edge
Others believe that one should fly like this is a real pilot - and self preservation (though not at the expense of your wingmates) is honourable.
And then there are a few that play that once they have more points in the game, flee. That is a win to them.
I feel that any but the last is a fine way to fly. The bottom line - have fun. Wether you play for kills or points.
Welcome to Blue Max.
PS You get one point per turn, and each time you shoot at someone you earn points based on the "quality" of the shot (ie the fire table you use) |
