I remember there's a little interesting tailing rule, about the game. We never discussed it, and i'm not sure it's written in all game version, or only on italian one. Maybe better ask the author about that.
I remember the manual stating something like :"..at the start of the game, the planes of a side, can start all from the same hex, facing the same direction. The squadron nominate a leader, and all planes can tail the squadron leader who can show his exact move to the wingmen. The wingmen can select this move. Whenever a wingman leave the formation he/they lost this status, being no more able to look at the leader move, and gaining only his normal tail. If, during the game, any wingmen found himself in the same hex of the leader, facing the same direction, he can use this rule again and look his leader move"
Maybe it was added just from the italian translators, i remember they added an Italian and Austrian plane schedule to game.
I'm going to check this asap, what about your manual, international pilots  ?
This would be a major add-on in the game that can seriously improve squadron collaboration. E-mail apart
