| Message text It doesn't surprise me that this subject (and cheating) comes up often.
It, or similar subjects, recur on all game forums that I know of.
What does this show? It shows this is what people want to talk about. So why castigate them for it?
With the high turnover of players/members in forums like this, I simply cannot see the use of a sort of over-traditionalist attitude that expects everyone to maintain contact with past posts and that tries to quash anyone who dares repeat something said before.
Why not just let new players discuss whatever they wish - if you've heard it before, ignore it. If someone wants to make a light complaint, as ksnake did, why expend the effort to complain about their complaining - it's not as if you are forced to read every message in every thread.
As for others' views of you and what you write... I simply call it like it is (read: according to my perceptions); I find it rude when someone tells someone else to stop doing something that seems perfectly reasonable and natural. That doesn't mean you are a rude person, it just means you said something rude. Your response to my calling you rude was certainly restrained and fair, and I hope relations have not been too soured!
