| Message text Yeah, sorry not to meet you both. Saturday I was walking around in a black shirt with a Pfalz on the back from Wings of War's Drachen game.
I flew control line planes also and yes, the smell is similar. But mentally is sure is different when there is a big rotary engine roaring up there, shifting magnetos like the guy talked about.
That was about worth the trip for me (I flew in from Memphis) but seeing the 2 flying rotary tripes certainly made it perfect.
Did you see the one tripe "flat turn" during one of their passes? I thought something was "wrong" at first and the PA guy did a nice job of explaining it. |
