Mighty fine weekend, wasn't it? Did you get to smell the Fokker D8's castor oil? That (and watching two rotary powered Fokker Triplanes, plus a 3rd with a modern engine) was worth the trip.
Sorry we didn't get a chance to meet in preson, Just4Fun and I had a good time. The Castor Oil smell is really similar to the smell you get when flying R/C Glow Engine aircraft, since they too use Castor oil as a lubricant. The D8 was pretty cool in general, would have loved to see it fly!
The best where still the Dr1's though, beautiful airplanes, and so graceful!!
