Message text I am new to the game and it was I who posted the "Can I fly two planes?" question a couple of days ago, not realising I had stepped into the middle of some sort of situation regarding just that.
First off, the question was so that I might play out scenarios against a friend, he has 2 planes, I have 2 planes. If I were the type to want to play multiple planes so that I might have an EDGE over other players without their knowing it, otherwise known as CHEATING, I certainly would not have asked the question in a public forum.
And yes, I understand, WWI, radio technology, blah blah blah, I get it.
So what's to stop the 2 people I am flying against in a 4 player game from being in contact anyway, either on the phone if they know each other, or by shooting each other emails, which the game makes very easy to do.
Nothing.
And I just might end up in games where my opposition is doing just that.
Well that sucks, and there is no way to stop cheaters and griefers, but that's life in the computer age.
So I move on to my next game and I hope it is a good one and a fair one against honest and challenging opponents.
And if mentioning Wings of War in the middle of my bad bad question about flying two planes cast any sort of negative light on Wings of War then I feel terrible, because it is a great game! I repeat, Wings of War is a GREAT game! As is Blue Max. I am glad kduke mentioned it on the BGG WoW forum.
