Many pilots currently tolerate brief tactical messages during the first round only: this is meant to simulate pre-mission briefing.
Free placement games are different: one usually considers them as representing unexpected meetings when flying out of formation, so there it should be disallowed, in my opinion.
Not all pilots agree on this matter, however, so be careful... |
