For what it's worth, I just got shot down in game 633141 (http://www.youplay.it/play/GameMove.asp?GameID=633141&GameType=BM ) due to this bug. I took one red chit of damage and drew a "Rudder jams" chit and so losing my last point of tail structure. This was despite the fact that I was facing directly at my attacker (alas, with jammed guns).
