When did they wipe all of our played games and such from our user info screen?
I say this cuz I know for a fact i have played WAY more than the amount of games listed.
Or did they just start wiping inactive players stats?
Just curious as I am not back here to be a stat whore but simply to get back to gaming fundamentals

The stats work so: every time you end a game the played counter for that game is added one, when you win is the won one and so on. And this never change. I can tell you since I follow my games one by one.
Then there are the single games. Each single game is an archive position and each of this archive position can be divided in active (games actively played) and not active (ended games). The more you have the slower is the site.
You are here since 7 years, so you will remember that there were a lot of hanging over games since many players opened some games, then started to be bored and dropped moving. All that games remained there and bored everybody since were there waiting for players that stopped to show up. To solve that Nick created the auto-moving system that, after the due time you don't log in, stat moving for you. It happened that one of the fellows of this site had an ictus and was unable to move at all for about one here. When he was able to log in again he found no active game since the auto-moving had cleaned out all his game. Without the auto-moving system his about 50 games would have remained there and a lot of people would have been bored by. So, if you remained disconnected for a while, it can be that the auto-mover ended your games.
Then there are is the fact that if you have too much archive position (the sum of active and not active games), the archive reading slows down, so slowing down the site. Besides that you pay the hosting for the space you occupy, the more you need the more you pay. For this reason, three or four years ago, after the auto-mover started to end games in being since years, Nick stated to delete games that were ended from more than a year or so.
This deleting has effect on the statistic that are made on the game that are on-line in archive like the "Games played with me" and "Top 10 game opponents". May be this is where you encountered your problems, but this doesn't mean that your position has been deleted, not at all. In case I can give you the names of several players I played with, that are no more connecting since years and you will find how many games they played and won, but you will be unable to find out the games they played with me.
Have a good gaming.
