I could see it also facilitating squadron games within ongoing WWI campaign, either vs other squadrons, or as squadron vs all-comers - say in some uneven scenarios, with the squadron taking the smaller number of planes vs the larger number of whomever.
Another option might be a WWI campaign solely for squadrons.
