Where to host it? I believe Nick is hosting this site on a dedicated server but I am not sure whether it is a physical machine or VM. Can we put the squadron site on it as well to save the hosting cost?

Unless he really wants to do it, I'd rather go for another host. Both page "types" require database access and provide new attack vectors. That means time to maintain it + unnecessary risk. I'm planning to rent a small shared server anyway, so I can host. Unless of course someone has a nice server and wants to share
