Message text Alas, I find the dozens and dozens of WS&IM bugs too much to take. For you recreational players, I am sure you still enjoy the game. But as someone who has played, including tournaments, the board game for 30 years it is no fun for me, the purist.
All my games shall go to automove as I do not want to surrender and cause my opponent to lose. So, cream me!
I feel betrayed by the site owners. I donated a lot of time and effort in playing the basic game. We documented, tested some more, reported bugs, came up with solutions, had meetings, and so on. This was all for nothing as they were never put into place. Instead, someone made arbitrary changes that did not follow the committee that was set up, and ignored key portions of the docs we created. So much for volunteering! The bugs were not fixed, and remain unfixed a year later. Yes, I do understand that the site is run by people who don't really get paid (much) and yes they can use their time however they wish. Of course, they do seem to fix bugs in all the other games, which is still their prerogative. However, they should not have wasted the play-testers time on something they had no intention of doing.
I won't be signing back in, so, won't get any replies. For those of you who know me and want to keep in touch, you likely have my email. If you do not, send a youplay message and INCLUDE your email so I can write back as I am not logging back in.
