I prefer football because of it's constant change. That and it's a thinking man's game. One team had over 1000 different plays for offense. Couple that with dozens of formations, endless player combonations and 100's of defenses and you have a game that captures my attention. Even with a lesser talented team you can win with a better executed game plan. (See the Giants against the Patriots a couple years ago)
If you don't know Football (what you call soccer) and Rugby (as has said you GraysGhost) you can not compare the with your American derivate. Study both and then we'll speak again.
