Why is a new scoring system being introduced? We have a scoring system in place already and it works well, so it is what needs to be used for league games as well as non-league games. If, however, we want to change the scoring system for both to some sort of % calculation we should open that up for debate. My question is, if in "Brit at Gib" I lose the Amphion, am I charge for losing 1/8th of my fleet? That would be ludicrous!!!
If we are to use "% fleet destroyed" then it would have to be based solely on the % of hull squares destroyed, with captures counting as "that enemy ship's hull being 100% destroyed".
