In game 437970 I captured the Spartiate. There was my prize crew of 4, and 3 prisoners on-board.
I elected to transfer my prize crew off of the Spartiate. When the transfer occured, the message set declared, "The prisoners are free" and that I owned the ship, instead of my opponent.
This was around turn 35-36.
The ship should have re-verted to my opponent's control.
