Message text Just a few short observations about what I think makes a great wingman.
1. Knows how to hold formation!
2. Knows how to conserve fuel (dosen't leave you hanging in those crucial last few moves of the game).
3. Hangs tough. (even though guns shot out, stays in game to help you by keeping your enemy from concentrating fire, or moves in a predictable pattern to "sucker in" a target for you on his way off the board).
4. Takes his share of the combat. (does not hang around the edges of the game until you have softened up the bad guys)
5. Comes a-runnin when its obvious that your engine or fuel is out.
6. Apreciates when you do these things for him.
I have been blessed with some great partners in this game (Gugli, Halberstadt, Monkey Hanger Ensign, Opie, Ronsonal,... the list goes on and on), and cursed with a few others (names deleted  ).
I'm sure many can add to this list, and point out many traits that I could learn from to improve my own usefulness
