Anyone here have some tips on how to play?
Boy, talk about painting a target on yourself

(just kiddin' dude).
Here's my advice: Play it like chess (i.e. 2 or 3 moves ahead) be prepared to be somewhat pummeled untill you get a chance to get to know some of us (and our varying styles) a little better (That my friend is the secret to B.M. cliche'd as it is, it is fact) you will find yourself flying differently against different pilots.
Now! for some (immediately) USEFULL info for a rookie (I hate the word "noob").
1.) set up a standard rules game w/ brewwk001, let him know that you are new and (for God's sake ask questions) Ozvortex-also awesome.
2.) Ksnake and Templars are also fond of standard rules and are some of the best teachers around (Ruthless, meaning: you will learn through pain) but great guy's to learn from.
Templars is rarely online these days. ksnake is online a lot except the middle of the day.3.) for advanced rules hit up litehoof,pokerguy,Dcr66,imdog....who else is a patient ace/teacher guy's? Help me out,
OH YEAH scottireb is one of the best (a real gentleman) and super-good teacher (again standard rules would probably be best if you wish to challenge).
pokeryguy may not give advices and imdog logs in once every few days.Anyway welcome to the group my friend and there is FENRIS' ninety-five dollars and "TWO CENTS worth".
See ya over Verdun.
