Your idea is nice but of little value unless you create a devoted group of players that take the agreement to connect at about the same time, stay logged and in front to the computer for enough time to end a game. It's easier to create such a game that to find a casual one.

I must admit its a little selfish on my part for when I've played all my moves and just hanging on to see if I can play a little longer or if I have to get on with some work
Is it possible to have a "Play to completion now" game type for those who just want to play and finish in one sitting? It could have a 10 min automove and maybe a "ditch" quit option with suitable penalties of course. What do you think?
