I saw the part of rules on it, but, at this point, I must say that the questioning on why Skygee retired in that game had no reason to be made. Certainly you may have your opinion, but I think the in game comments made by both Steadman and myself were legit. How else would I have any chance of finding out the answer if I hadn't posed the question to Skygee? Additionally, both comments were made after the end of the game, so it wasn't as though they had an impact on the game. They were legit, what I say is that I could even understand Steadman, that was thinking to be able to bring to bear his guns, at last. I can understand less your, much more since it had been made after the end of the game when you could see that Skygee, due to Fabric tears, could not evade by speed, you could see that he was closed in a corner by Steadman and that there was a second opponent in game. At this point you were able to see the bad tactical situation he was in and understand that he plays in a quite historical way and accept it. I close telling you that, personally, if I were Steadman I would have blamed myself for not having be able to shoot more in 18 turns, and, if I were you I would have said nothing for the reasons I just told. Let me one tactical note, I would have never risked jamming my guns so early. If you note Skygee won since his guns never jammed, you exited with less points for jammed guns, schkelgruber was shoot down with jammed guns since 5 turns.
I close saying that I've discovered that you can exit with no penalty from your side, even without honor. One more variation to take into account, with the addition that now I know how several other players will act in such a situation. |
