Are thier any plans to add additional aircraft types to the online game? Doesn't the board game offer more choices of aircraft? Just some fast notes for everybody.
The present policy of the webmasters is to add nothing that has not been published, to avoid discussion. The only exception, if compared with the original game pool of planes, is the Siemens-Scuckert D.I, but that was just a copy of the Nieuport 17. There are no more published planes but the Ansaldo A.1 Balilla and the Aviatik D.I, that were published in the Italian edition, but without any counter. If someone wants the stats can drop me by sending me a e-mail though the YouPlay. It facility.
As long as it regards the introduction of the "Levis Gun", it will be probably made in the future, but don't ask when, it is a follow on modification that will cause some more bugs than happened with the introduction of the "Long Burst". This time you have to introduce the fact that the pilot voluntary decides to reload the gun, just some more details to deal with in the routines to be written. But it is not for now since they are busy taking Wooden Ships and Iron Men on line and then they have started the really long time project to develop a sixth game.
As long as it regards the rules for planes development, they were given to me, in a thread of this forum, by Phil Hall, and requires the proper, historical, documentation. And anyway required the counters' design.
This is the state of the art on new planes. |
