I supposed something along these lines. However, since anybody can _always_ see a thread subject, just removing the body of a post does not remove the message it conveys. Censorship is a double-edged weapon.
I am interested in every post revolving around the squadron I belong to, so I would like to read and understand any opinion expressed about it.
Having no clue about your first post nature, I am inclined to assume that it might have been inflammatory for its own sake. If this was the case, it would have had a better defusing effect to simply add a line asking to ignore what written above or below.
This is, of course, just my own opinion...
