Why is it that a player can shoot at plane "A", then tail plane "A", then after all have moved another plane "B" end up in the same hex with Plane "A" and you shoot at Plane "B".

Loosing the

This has happen to me a few times now.

I think the program is set to give you the enemy who you will score the most points against. In your example, perhaps player B stalled and has no deflection therefore making him a better target to shoot.
I thought this was the case a long time ago, but have come across a few instances where a higher point shot was passed up for a lesser one.
It would be nice to have a ranking of enemy planes for preferential shots. Then, the computer can automate each move based and shoot at the highest preference available. Of course, a "highest points" option would be good to add to it as well. It could be a simple number box next to each enemy plane, but I suspect the coding for the turn execution might be more involved.
I believe the program will always give you the enemy that you score the most points against. Perhaps if there are 2 planes that would give the same point value the program then makes a "Random" (See the "Big Plane Race") selection.
