Other sites have forums so active and deep that you would have to devote hours a day to barely keep up. If I didn't respond here from time to time, I would be done with the forum in under 5 minutes. I really don't see how that is too much of a burden.
Yes, you can ignore it, but that doesn't mean that it belongs in the forum....my analogy would be to people who write on bathroom walls, yes you should ignore what they write, but it doesn't mean it is right for them to write on the wall....just because they can isn't an excuse for them to show their ignorance. You are correct that we should ignore their ignorance, but we would all be better off if they didn't display it in public in the first place.... ....the Baron is just stating he wants a more ideal place...may not be possible, but that is all..that is my two cents from someone who rarely visits or posts in the forum because of what BL speaks about... |
