Thanks a lot Trevor! All the range is distributed by Esvedium on behalf of Fantasy Flight Games. The miniatures at the moment cover 4 of the 5 planes in "Famous Aces", with three color schemes each. Planned future releases will include other 4 planes in three colors each: three Fokker D.VII, three Sopwith Snipe, three DH.4 and three Roland C.II, all taken from previously released cards and all from WWI (no Russian Civil War). Two seaters will have different weaponary combinations (1/2 MGs for Rolands, 2/4 for DH4 as the ones in WyB!). September could be a dedline for them. Then other 2 series of 4 x 3 planes each are under study, but to cover all the range of planes in WoW it's a hard task. Even becasue a fourth box and other two boosters will come in the meantime...
A DeLuxe box with four models will also be released in July: it will include Richthofen, Baracca, Barker and Udet. Plus counters, consolles, rulers and three damage deck (two As and one B). For the moment it will be released only in Italian, French, Spanish and German. The rulebook will be the same you can already download at http://www.wingsofwar.it plus a scenarios section with new scenarios and new scenario rules, including some more accurate ones for bombings. A similar bombing system is already in "WoW - Dawn of War" for WWII, the box coming out in June. Price in Italy for the DeLuxe box will be around 39.50 euros, that's slightly more than just the 4 models alone. Release and princing in other nations depend on each local publisher. |
