I mean, not just the game chat, that's visible to everybody, but you could use SMS or personal e-mail, or simply meetings, to give other players informations that normally they could not aquire, like tail of too far opponents, or instructions about coordinated maneuvers.
If there is any kind of limit or rule that is usually applied to this communication exchange, please, let me know. If there is no rule, let me know anyway. Thanks.
blackstar0 it is sort of an unwritten rule... no communication between players Is that only after the game has started (planes are airborne) or the entire time? In other words, can a game plan be devised and coordinated before the first moves, similar to a mission briefing in the hangar?
The problem is during the game.
In the reality, before taking off, a leader HAS to brief is pilots about the mission, the goals, the best tactics and so on. This is part of his duty, and is out of questioning.
My question is: is there any rule about communication among pilots in flight ?
For example, once I took part in a tournament where pilots flying in the same hex and the same direction were assumed to be in sight of each other, and so they could exchange signals about their maneuvers...I just want to know if such a rule (or others like this) are adopted.
If no rules is adopted about information exchange, I will simply assume (as Tornade kindly suggest) that no communication is allowed at all.
