For the game, at league level he has been considered as shoot down, but the league has been won by the Germans since the Allied lost the 50% of their planes while the Germans lost only the 33%. The marginal victory status would have been considered if the two teams has lost the same percentage of planes, but this is not possible in leagues where one side has less planes. That's why I never take part in such type of leagues.
What can be made to discourage this type of tactics, is to consider him as he had been shoot down even at personal level. In this case his league points would have been 4 and not 5, but his team mates would not pay for his not nice action. |
