| Message text Lord et al, let's start a small 8 team (min) entry tournament for the first 8 that sign up. I feel we need to do some sort of organized squadron event, to keep interest high. I was thinking of a 4 x 4 scenario with reverse play.
Could someone explain the format that has been used to determine the winning team? I sort of believe it really just be the combined scores of each squadron when the game officially ends. Has there been another method used? To me collaborating on a kill with a fellow pilot really emphasises the team concept and as such, that is the method I wish to use. The winner in the event of split games, would be the squadron with the highest game total of the two.
This would be very easy for me to put together. I will randomly set up the 8 team brackets. I will not rank squadrons for this first attempt.
If you are interested, let me know squadron leaders by indicating your squadron name and of course, your official squadron leaders. I want this to be for the organized squadrons through the nice site Lord Locquax has set up. So if you are not signed up yet there, simple register with Lord Locquax.
Register here and indicate to Lord Locquax your squadron name and membership. You need to have at least 4 players who are playing regularly to play in the tournament but extra pilots are always needed so try to get 6 or so.

Naturally, the Flying Tigers Squadron is entered so we need 7 more organized squadrons. Also, I am not requiring the same 4 pilots to play in both games nor do the same pilots have to play in the second round. It will be for the Squadron leaders to fill their flight rosters so long as all flyers are legitimate pilots accordingly. I think we can do this quick tourney rather quickly with active players.
