I saw the movie and the nieuports in general had their way with the german triplanes. I guess the allies rolled alot of sixes vs. the germans rolling ones.
Ever see Aces High Poker - I have it here in Nashville - be glad to lend it to you. I also have the Howard Hughes film Hell's Angels - hard to find. My personal favorite remains the Blue Max. Its the Jerry Goldsmith score that pushed it past all others - at least for me.
I have seen Blue Max and enjoyed it. Havn't seen the others.
