I went back to the original GDW Rules and checked. All I see there is in the case of a plane going down because of Fire, no one gets credit for the kill. So we are in keeping with the original rules on that. I wonder though, how Our Rules may or may not effect the pilot who "burned up"? As we track Kills and KIAs, is that a KIA? Many years ago, we had a 'house rule' governing that situation in this situation.
