I hereby apologize if my comments have offended you, that was not meant to.
You are correct in that you were leading by points in the second game, and I managed to reduce the score margin because I had spared a little more fuel than you did (but that's also part of the game, especially when you start with a little less fuel than your opponent).
I was however leading by points in the first game, and you chose to leave the map due to a badly damaged engine.
In standard game, 1 box engine still leaves you with full speed and restricted moves.
So, you could still have tried to fight and reverse the situation.
Let say that I whish to play the tournament with as only goal to pass to the next turn.
As soon as I have 3 pts advantage in the total of the two games, I will quit them asap.
The advantage will be reduced to 1 point, but, who cares, I win.
Do you really think this is fair play ?
Again, I'm not saying you were not a fair opponent, on the contrary.
About me being a poor winner, well I'm even a worse looser
