Okay Chaps, Chapesses and others,

I've had an idea. Rather than organising a really complex competition we recreate the World Cup Groups and use their system of who proceeds from each group through to the next round.

So we have eight groups of four that will be played in four leagues, each with two groups within it.

Only the games against the teams from your group will count. So Group A & Group E will be League 1. Brazil in Group A plays Switzerland in Group E so that game does not count for the competition - it is considered a friendly.

All actual results will be updated here in the Forum.

To take part all you have to do is select a Team in a Group - and we may well have Groups of Death as in the real thing so nothing different there.

We will play the Late War Snipe V Schuckert scenario on the smallest playing area without PK & FTE. Both games against a Group Member count and it is the cumulative score to ensure it is fair. You could consider it a game of two halves!

In our league you are the home player if you are the Snipe, when recording results.

To settle any arguments, as it is my idea, I'm England. For the rest of you, first post gets the country.
