1) Nomination period- 3 weeks, from now to 1st December

For nominee,
a) no observable, reported cheating for the past 3 months
b) finished 50 games at least (otherwise how can u be the best pilot of 05??)
c) login for the last 90 days (as of 1 Dec)



Based on the above criteria, I went to the old statistics page and came up with the following non-scientific formula for the Best Pilot Award.

First, I would like to thank Imdog for all of the time he has devoted to the site regarding statistics. Imdog is truly a great asset to this site.

Regarding my nominations, I would like to state from the beginning that I play for kills and/or kill ratio only. That being said, I have always felt that a high level of play would be reflected by the ratio of kills, as long as the pilot was not in a pigeon shooting scenario. I feel that a 3-1 level of enemy kills to your own deaths is preferable.

In addition, I looked for players who seemed to have an advantage over me in the win-loss statistic based on points.

Therefore, players who did not have a 3-1 kill ratio and a very high win-loss percentage against me were excluded.

Given the above, I nominate the following players as they are the equivelent of my nemesis:



DBurkeG

Games played:29. DBurkeG won 6 times. rumpler won only 1 time

PaoloL

Games played:12. PaoloL won 5 times.

Just4Fun

Games played:30. Just4Fun won 5 times. rumpler won 2 times

I could easily have nominated the top players, and although they deserve much respect, the above players seem to be very capable when I confront them.

Also, there are a number of players who are no longer active, and although they are deserving recognition, I do feel that we should honor those currently involved in the BlueMax community.

Finally, for those intersted, I had one other nemesis, but I am sure that he does not need my vote, as there are many others who will vote for him, I am sure...
