As for #1, I didn't care for the hex numbers on the game map. I'm glad they took them out. I mean, when I look up at the sky, I see clear sky blue and no numbers floating about.
As for #2, the plotted move does show up on my map prior to movement... I'm using Firefox. Could it be a problem with the program you are using? Have you tried it on different computers?
As for you getting your facings mixed up, I found it helpfult to do handstands while making my plots.
