Hi,
I'm not the world's best pilot, but I think I've got some practise playing dancers. I don't fly two-seaters nor the SS's. I can fly a Fokker VII, but I find myself being terrible flying "plain" runners such as the Spad XIII.
As I see it, you can only turn quicky with restricted maneuvers or with 22, so it's fairly hard to get someone's tail or a good shot.
Any good advice for getting the hang of these planes?
Alex
The best advice is that you've already had is to think ahead a few turns. When flying compare your plane to your opponents, in what areas do you have the upper hand. Where is your weak spot. Maximize your advantage. So don't dance when you fly a runner, run. You got the bigger engine? Go for head on attacks. |
