Beg your pardon, but that is a commonplace, and quite a trite one too.
Viloence is quite a trait of homo sapiens, but that violence, so absurd and frightening, is not.
The truth is that mankind is ruled by the most mentally alienated of its members, that (anybody judges others by himself) are also the authors of such misconceptions, and have the power to make it a dominant opinion.
Or, if you prefer a more matherialistic POW, it is the whole socio-economic system that's going wild, clashing against his own contradictions. |
