Sadly this will never happen. Humans have a destructive element built into our genes. It is a hangover from our earliest years when we had to fight to survive - it is also this that has made us the dominant species we are. Every mammal has the same in-built problem to a degree.
The issue today is that there are so many of us that differences are innevitable. If groups cannot agree by civilised means (which is what all sides really want), then our nature kicks in and the in-built fight instinct takes over. (did you not feel anger on hearing the news?).
It can never be stopped, so the question is, how can we reach a compromise and reduce the problem, knowing that we will never agree?
This is a truely sad day.
