The stats about scenarios tell it all...
Mid war, the Dr1 is more likely to survive than the Camel
Runner vs Dancer, the Spad XIII will win against the Dr1
Runner vs Dancer II, the same Spad XIII will have some hard time against the Pfaltz DIIIa
Here comes the Navy, the Sopwith Triplane will give some hard time to the Albatros DIII.
Etc...
This of course has to be weighted by the pilot's experience and luck

Almost all scenarios are more or less umbalanced, and that's good, there's no problem with that. I like some umbalanced scenarios a lot (I like flying N17 against a DIII, or Tripe against two DIII).
I think the mixed scenarios should go, but the one against many has a certain kind of challenge. While I don't enjoy playing a firefly myself, there are people who do.
The problem is with some scenarios that are so umbalanced that are suited just for newbie bashing and, above all, are fun to play just with one side: that's usually happens with the "one superplane against a swarm of mosquitos", but not only. And furthermore it happens when mixing planes from different periods (with some exception).
So, MH, good idea. Nuke them.
