I remember reading about this some years ago. What was the fix?

This is a new laptop, so I'm sure it's something to do with the config. It doesn't happen on other machines with IE8.

IE is one giant programming code error.

There is an old joke about the only thing IE is used for is downloading FireFox. I think that is changing to Chrome.
