Hello everyone!
New to Youplay.it - played BM a lot years ago and just recently picked up a copy on eBay. I've joined a few games here and was wondering if there was a policy or unwritten rule regarding communications outside of the game.
For example could team mates send PMs and/or emails to talk about the next turn and things like that? I realize that there is no real way to police that but I play for fun and wouldn't want to break any rules or agreements. I looked over the FAQs and didn't find anything about that.
As a side question, if it's not against the rules or "spirit of the game" to communicate like this, does it generally happen and if so, what form?
Thanks!
I'm of the mind that there should be no communication between players during Blue Max. It is entirely against the spirit of the game. It can also give unfair advantage to some players. If they are discussing the results of their tailing options with players who could not tail an enemy then that is cheating in my book. There are other lesser offensives of course but overall I think it is sad if people feel the need to do so about specific games. We are not winning money here folks.
