However if you are ever in a tournament (not leagues), then the etiquette is slightly different:
Blue Max - no communication after the first move is the norm. There is no radio in WW1. If you talk to your teammates by email, things will look obvious after a while.
WSIM - You can use whatever secret codes or foreign languages you want but you should stay with in game chat box.
