I completely agree, however, in the original board game the hulk would not only remain, but it would block fire until it ACTUALLY sunk or exploded; in which case it would be completely removed from the board.
This version of the game is a wee different, and it takes some getting used to. Enjoy!

That is NOT the case, this is the basic game, not the advanced rules. What you are saying is in the advanced rules. So, this version matches the board game.
