Message text Good thread. I am also willing to help any newbies learn the game, but you certainly won't go wrong with derekticus as your mentor.
That said, there are probably lots of experienced players willing to help. Post here -- newcomers can set up challenge games when they feel ready. Although, I'm sure we would agree that reading through the rules and newbies guide is a prerequisite, you don't need to remember every word. The details are complicated, but the concept of the game is simple: use the wind and don't get raked.
