Another solution to successfully coordinate tactics during a teamplay between different player would be to allow just one sided quick message box: each side can write to their own team mates easily applying tactics without the other side to read their messages.
@Pokerguy: seems like cheating to me
--- Message edited by Dude27 Perhaps you misunderstood. You wanted a way for 1 human to control 2 different planes. If the same player has 2 different names and his opponent also has 2 youplay names then they could play against each other. (both sides "cheating" and thus being equal). It would be interesting from a standpoint of "changing it up" but wasn't the idea of game design in BM to "preserve" the actuality of pilot isolation and the combat and tactics challenges it posed (no radios, etc.)
I have just try a game with dcr66 on the friendly site (which allows muliple plane for each user) and the experience is quite .... interesting.
This time we control 3 planes with each other, dcr66 use 1 se5a and 2 camel, I use 1 Herbalstad, one Dr I and one D.Va. Every friendly plane will cover up each other perfectly and fly in a very tight formation. A good alternative experience, but I wouldn't recommend it for beginner.
