In my experience, Galceran is a player with the highest of ethical standards. I think this situation is just a misunderstanding on your part. Galceran was a wingman of mine on the Shakesperos and I would vouch for his honor at any time.

Bombadil
I concur wholeheartedly with Bombadil's appraisal of Galcerans ethics. Galceran (Bombadil, too, for that matter) has always been a stand-up guy, in my experience.
