I live, for the net, far away in the country side, I use Mozilla, and I find almost no difference, in some hours the reply is slow, in other is faster, but it has always been so.
Personally I think that, from time to time, we have to do with database problems, that I consider not due only to programing problems, but more due to the server.
Besides that, if I remember correctly, Preston is using a custom modified version of Mozilla, this can even lead to problems when there are upgrades.
