Overall, the German planes are better and I expect them to have the advantage in the long run. Heaven help the poor Allies from April 1918 on if the Germans are to get Siemens Schuckert D.IIIs AND Fokker D.VIIs the rest of the war.

I agree. The Bristol will be a huge boost to the allies next month and that should even things out. The Se5a will also dent German progress for a while before the German super fighters get into the fray long before the Allies get the Snipe up into the air.
I am sorry to say that the Camel has very poor stats in this game and is a sad reflection of the historical plane.
Meanwhile, I have managed to become the first allied ace mainly from using the trusty Sopwith Tripe 
It has been hard work though, the Tripe is a fantastic plane but the sole gun can get you into a lot of trouble against the Alb III slayer!! |
