Yes, the trick is that spotters only fire when you are very near to them, and the Behemoth doesn't fire at you if you attack it from behind without getting too close
Or just take out the spotters on the 1st round. then you have a 4 to 1 on the behemoth. I keep getting stuck on 1947. You have 2 and they have 4 planes and they start behind you
Yeah, 2 on each spotter in the first round should take them out with only a jammed rudder or two. Then, the Behemoth is a sitting duck!
I tried criss cross, I tried to out pace them to seperate the slower planes. I tried to turn to one side. I tried crop dusting and flipping the other plane around. Best I've managed is to take down 3 planes and start the last one smoking.
For 1947, I criss-crossed my planes to split up their advantage. Unfortunately, it was my son's idea, not mine.
Wait until you get to the Behemoth with the two Turtles! That's a fun one!
