Message text My Mum was given three months after finding that she had incurable cancer - she just didn't accept what they said and continued her life in full.
She died twenty months later of an unconnected incident - an asthma attack, the first she ever had so didn't know what to do - and died in hospital the following day.
Her example has shown me that a positive mental attitude doesn't hurt and in fact helps a great deal.
So what if you have no hair, some of us are bald and have been since we were 25. I do have a wicked collection of hats though as it does get nippy around the ears.
Never give in, never surrender.
