The Boardgame Players Association website is updated with last summers results of the World Boardgaming Championships. The report of Derek’s win is at http://boardgamers.org/yearbook/wsmpge.htm . Again, congratulations Derek.

If you enjoy Wooden Ships and Iron Men, and would like something a little deeper then the simplified rules used on Youplay, make and effort to attend next year.

Thanks, Mark!

It was a great time and I'm looking to return to Lancaster, PA in early August 2010 to play again at the World Boardgaming Championships.
Our efforts last year took WS&IM up from a "Trial Event" to "Century Status," meaning it is now one of the 100 games guaranteed a spot on the convention floor!!
I would love to meet you there, one and all!!!

Just remember this is not youplay WS&IM - Tournament rules, baby!

Finally I can put a face on my enemy. Too bad Mark's picture is not on the site. Is he the camera shy one?
