| Message text The Trident Cup Competition (TCC), begun in April of last year, has finally concluded. ARMADA GEDDON has succeeded in fending off the RUM RUNNERS to take the world Team title for 3-man teams, out of a field of 8 teams.
Mark (Sirlindsley) and myself wish to thank the participants of the 8 teams that entered, and almost without exception finished, the tournament. There were the usual delays, and several teams had to change players in mid-stream (ocean?), but overall it was a very enjoyable tournament for most of us. Despite it being similar to herding cats, everyone also obeyed the rules as originally outlined, and except for a few exceptions play was conducted smoothly and efficiently.
My hats off to the participants, and my thanks to Mark for helping this thing get started in the first place! It couldn't have been done without him.
